Saturday, December 12: Knafeh presented by Awad Awad

Ages:  12 years old and up
Location:  In person at Alif Institute. Masks and social distancing required.
This class will take place outside, during Alif’s Annual Holiday Bazaar.

A delicate crust of shredded phyllo dough, molten ooey-gooey cheese, orange blossom water scented sugar syrup, fresh ground pistachio, and loads of grass-fed butter and ghee come together in an unforgettable Eastern Mediterranean dessert known as knafeh. Come learn to make Director of Program Awad Awad’s Palestinian version of the dish.
