Alif Institute's Tabla Troupe
Join our troupe of tabla players and perform at cultural events around the city!
What to know:
- Alif Tabla Troupe performs at festivals and cultural events around the metro-Atlanta area to share the joy of Arabic music.
- Troupe members must commit to at least two performances per year: The Atlanta Arab Festival (October) and one other event.
- Troupe members should have at least basic experience with the tabla.
- Troupe members must commit to all practice dates ahead of performances. Practice dates will be decided ahead of each performance.
- Joining the group is free of charge.
- Dress code: Troupe members will be responsible for their own dress according to the predetermined choice.
- Age: Anyone from age seven years old and up is welcome to join.
How to join:

- Attend an audition. A staff member will contact you to coordinate a time.
