In service to our mission to educate about the beauty of Arab culture, Alif will launch a new community art project, Tatreez.
Led by Alif’s own Knit & Stitch Club, the goal of this project is to educate about the importance of tatreez and bring people together to work on a deeply significant cultural project.
We are excited to invite Roswell Community Masjid and host their youth group’s exhibit, Kufiyeh. The exhibit explores the symbolism, cultural history, and elements of Palestine through individual research projects.
As part of our fundraising efforts to support PCRF’s humanitarian medical efforts in Gaza, we will have a silent auction of beautiful items donated by community members. Please stay tuned for more information on the items.
A project of Families for Palestine, Atlanta Kids for Palestine will welcome families to make art to raise awareness and write letters to call for ceasefire in Gaza. All supplies will be provided.
