Atlanta Arab Festival 2015 - First time visitor. I thought the venue and exhibits were very good. I thought the event did an excellent job at promoting the Arab culture. Food was spectacular and prices more than fair. We will attend this event again in the future.

My family is so blessed to find Alif and to become part of it. It's a great community and our children are always happy to go to their Arabic classes every Saturday! Keep up the hard work.

My first encounter with ALIF was during orientation for the Arabic Festival. Initially I was looking for a school to learn Arabic and came across the volunteer opportunity for the yearly festival. I decided to join! It was a warm welcome and I hope to spend many years here as a volunteer and become proficient in Arabic during Summer classes!

As a second generation Arab-American, I am very proud of the work that the Alif Insitute is doing to educate the public about the richness of Arab culture. It's a great place for everyone, young or old, of Arab heritage or not.

Alif is a wonderful environment for Arabs and non-Arabs alike.  The welcoming atmosphere makes everyone feel at home.  There are so many activities to choose from: art, music, cooking, dance, books, movies and language classes.  There are even knit and crochet classes.  Everyone is welcome to visit and soak up many aspects of Arab culture at the annual festival, gala or picnic.  Come and see for yourself.

The Intercultural Movies & Dinners and the discussions afterwards are very culturally important, because in each film , we discover a theme or common thread of humanity which is woven into each of us, no matter what our ethnicity is. Film has that unique power of demonstrating our commonality in human experience, regardless of our differences. Alif Institute has brought a wide variety of films to our attention that make us laugh or cry or think deeply about life...films that sometimes are from Arabic-speaking countries or not, or which have Arabic characters or actors...or not. Tugging on that thread of common humanity by discussing the film after viewing it pulls us all just a little bit closer together. This series has been one of my favorite programs at Alif and i hope it continues for a long time.
